3. Becky Lynch

Former champion and current Man Becky Lynch successfully turned face during her match with Bianca Belair at SummerSlam 2022.

After putting on one of the matches of the night, Lynch and Belair went from foes to friends to square off against the debuting Damage CTRL. Unfortunately, WWE had no time to follow up with this angle, as Lynch had separated her shoulder during the match.

The injury took place early on and you can actually see Lynch's shoulder hanging out of its socket if you look close enough. Lynch confirmed the injury the next night on Raw, when she walked out with her arm in a sling and said goodbye to the fans.

WWE announced that Lynch would be out for "several months", which is thoroughly unhelpful. Bryan Alvarez remarked that Lynch was still using her arm during the match, so she should hopefully be back from the injury sooner rather than later. Although other reports put her back in the ring at some point in 2023.

Hopefully, Becky can be back in time for the Royal Rumble, which she could feasibly win to set up her rumoured match with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 39. Not a bad idea, that.
