10 Wrestlers Other Wrestlers Were Scared Of

6. Minoru Suzuki

There's a personal touch to this one from your writer, one who may leave the country if Suzuki-san reads this.

The Japanese hard nut has worked more MMA fights than most wrestlers could only dream of. What's more, he currently has a 30-20 win-loss record, and 22 of those victories came via submission. In other words, Minoru Suzuki could stretch you like Stu Hart in his prime, and he'd probably enjoy doing it.

Anyone who has met or worked with Suzuki could tell you that his mild-mannered presence and polite-but-stoic greetings belie the fighter underneath. He's fairly passive, though one gets the feeling he could snap at any moment if he felt disrespected. It's amazing to watch as grown men and women tip-toe around the guy.

Inside the ring, Suzuki is a workhorse for sure, albeit a snug one. He's the walking definition of 'strong style', and he clearly doesn't shy away from physicality. His rich history in MMA, wrestling, kickboxing and the shoot-style UWF prove that Suzuki is a bad ass who loves a scrap.
