10 Wrestlers Scarier Than The Fiend

7. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is one of the most dangerous men to have ever lived.

That isn't hyperbole; he is an insane physical specimen that only a life-threatening illness stopped from dominating the octagon, and what's scarier still is that he wasn't even particularly skilled in the field of mixed martial-arts. He was simply a force of nature that briefly swept through the sport in spite of his rivals spending so much more of their career dedicated to it. The prospect of Lesnar transitioning to it immediately out of college changes the game in an alternate universe, but in this universe, Lesnar is probably the scariest pro wrestler ever on a purely visceral level - the most effective level.

With every German suplex comes a heart thrust into the throat, hoping that the angle is perfect, because any slight miscalculation results in a broken neck. His throwing a knee into the gut is more wince-inducing than any weapon shot or table bump. When he opened up the heads of Randy Orton and Roman Reigns, it was completely unnecessary - but undeniably effective in its harrowing drama.

Those macabre scenes effectively put over the idea that Lesnar is capable of killing somebody with his bare hands, but they weren't just unnecessary for the concussion risk; his work is so powerful that we knew that already.
