10 Wrestlers Set For A Big Push Following WrestleMania 33

8. Tye Dillinger

Tye Dillinger is exactly what SmackDown needs at the moment. The show has been crying out for solid midcard wrestlers since the 2016 draft, and that’s exactly what they have in the Perfect 10. Popular, charismatic, and no slouch in the ring, Dillinger will prove to be a huge asset to the brand should he stick around following the Shake-up, and may even push towards the main event after a while.

His first main roster appearance came through the Royal Rumble, but Dillinger wasn’t officially called-up until earlier this week, when he squashed Curt Hawkins on SD. His presence on the main roster is long overdue, and assuming the WWE hierarchy have as much faith in him as the fans do, he’s set for a decent push.

Dillinger’s character and inherent likeability should see him avoid the pitfalls Apollo Crews has experienced on SmackDown. Though he has spent the past few months playing Sanity’s personal whipping boy, Tye’s ability to appeal to a wider audience will see him prosper on SmackDown. He’d be an excellent Intercontinental Champion, and should reach that level by the end of 2017.
