6. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura’s SmackDown arrival felt special. 'The King of Strong Style' was ready for a main roster spot from the moment he signed with WWE, and after a year in NXT, he’s now finally set to become a huge star. SD made his debut feel like a major deal, and while all he really did was make a grand entrance and strike a few poses, Nakamura is on a fast track to glory.

In all likelihood, the former NXT Champion is intended as SmackDown’s John Cena replacement. Cena is expected to take several months away from wrestling to focus on his acting career, and as WWE’s biggest star, his absence will be felt. Fortunately, Nakamura brings a large global following to the table, not only from his time in NXT, but also the reputation he’d built in Japan, and is ideally positioned to become a major player on SD.

Now that he has debuted, expect WWE to waste no time in pushing Shinsuke to the moon. It looks like The Miz will be his first feud, and while this sounds like an excellent way to bring Nakamura into the fold, it won’t be long before he’s chasing championships.
