10 Wrestlers That Don’t Deserve To Be Hated

2. Baron Corbin

Groans were audible when returning legend JBL claimed that Baron Corbin was the biggest get in Raw history this past Monday night. 'Baron f*cking Corbin?!', came the cries. Yes, the same Baron F'n Corbin who was also shoved down people's throats as Raw GM and as the dude who ended Kurt Angle's career.

Both of those decisions were missteps, but he's really nowhere near as bad as some want the wider wrestling world to believe. Firstly, Corbin is a heel who embraces that role (both on TV and on social media). That's rare in today's climate when everybody wants those addictive little likes on Twitter.

Second, he's respected by his peers.

Watch Edge's return at the 2020 Royal Rumble for proof. There, Baron smashed the comeback king with a thumping 'Deep Six', but he made the move look killer whilst also taking care of the icon. Others, such as Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens, have also gone to bat for Corbin.

He's not Bryan Danielson, but he's not some in-ring train wreck either.
