10 Wrestlers That Rocked Multiple Gimmicks At Once
3. Triple H
Triple H is still ostensibly the same character he was when running around with Shawn Michaels as D-Generation X in 1997. That was his first major change, going from 'Greenwich Snob' Hunter Hearst Helmsley to a more realistic rebel. In the 21 years since, Trips has been known as 'The Game' the 'King Of Kings' and a corporate suit.
Throughout it all, he has kept the Triple H name and managed to maintain both his credibility inside the ring and upkeep the most powerful parts of his presentation. That's remarkable when looking at how different the juvenile prankster in DX and current father figure to NXT (and Authority leader) HHH are.
Trips' run, aside from a few injuries, has never been broken. He's been a continuous WWE employee since 1995, and he's rarely given rightful credit for reinventing himself across multiple generations. Without much interruption, Triple H has been a rich nobleman, degenerate, barometer of in-ring brilliance, 'Cerebral Assassin', stiff corporate sell-out and more.
None of those variations, barring his wobbly start as a snooty aristocrat, have been anything less than impactful.
