10 Wrestlers The Undertaker Should Have Faced At WrestleMania

6. WrestleMania XXVIII - Daniel Bryan

The Undertaker Danel Bryan Everyone who wanted to see Daniel Bryan and The Undertaker clash at WrestleMania XVIII say 'Yes! Yes! Yes!'. The Undertaker and Bryan had contrasting fortunes on the show: 'Taker assembled a near-perfect, thirty minute stunner with Triple H inside Hell in a Cell whereas Bryan was kicked in the face and pinned in fifteen seconds by Sheamus. That just goes to show you the difference in respect that the company has for them. As good as 'Taker versus Triple H was, though, did it really need to happen again? The two had wrestled each other in the show-stealer the previous year and had met a decade before that at WrestleMania X-7. That's three Undertaker versus Triple H WrestleMania matches right there. Bryan, who was on a great run as World Champion before the insulting Sheamus match, would have been an excellent opponent for The Phenom since 'Taker enjoys incorporating a submission style and Bryan is one of the best submissions grapplers in the game. The Bryan/Taker confrontation would have been intriguing due to the size difference and the fact the two had never crossed paths before, too. Would it have drawn the casual fan the way Triple H Vs. The Undertaker did? Probably not, but the show was pretty much sold to people based on The Rock versus John Cena, anyway. Now with 'Taker itching ever closer towards retirement and Bryan way too over as a babyface to make an effective heel again, it's doubtful that we'll ever see Bryan and Taker square off one-on-one.
