10 Wrestlers The Undertaker Should Have Faced At WrestleMania

3. WrestleMania XIX - The Rock

Remember that awesome Undertaker versus A-Train & The Big Show match from WrestleMania XIX? Odds are you don't because the match sucked and was instantly forgotten by most who watched it. The highlight of the match was probably 'Taker's entrance, as he was played in live by Limp Bizkit. The match was supposed to be a tag team affair including Nathan Jones but, after coming to the realisation that he was completely crap, WWE removed him from the match in the eleventh hour (he still managed to waddle down to the ring for the finish). The show did have a bunch of great main event matches, however, and 'Taker deserved to be one of them. The Dead Man had had a great year inside the ring in 2002. He looked rejuvenated after a poor 2001 and had a series of good matches against the likes of Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar (although he did have some poor matches with Hulk Hogan and Triple H). The Rock was in a featured match at WrestleMania XIX, beating longtime rival Steve Austin in what turned out to be Stone Cold's last match ever. While it's hard to take that match away, The Rock and The Undertaker would have put on a hell of a match at Safeco Field. The two had history with each other but had never had the chance to have that really big match that a WrestleMania affords you. Alternatively, 'Taker could have locked horns with a Chris Benoit or an Eddie Guerrero, since they were just floundering in the tag division at that point and could have really used a high-profile match.
