10 Wrestlers Who Altered Their Body For Their Gimmick

3. The Boogeyman (Missing Teeth)

Marty Wright was left literally speechless when, whilst down in WWE's feeder group Ohio Valley Wrestling back in 2005, he had his (proverbial) clock cleaned by a fellow trainee, losing the front row of his bottom teeth in the process.

Most people, unable to tolerate the resultant chewing chew-on caused by losing their chompers, would have immediately stumped up for replacement dentures. Not Wright; reckoning his gappy grin would add an extra layer to his creepy new 'Boogeyman' character, he neglected to restore his teeth. For one, it made it much easier to gnaw on all those worms - as weird a professional consideration as you could possibly imagine.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
