10 Wrestlers Who Are In Da Wrong Company

6. Keith Lee

Jon Moxley WWE
AEW

Keith Lee's character has had a tumultuous journey in AEW, in-part due to various health issues that have plagued his booking but also a sense of creative unfinished business due never paying off his first big feud and never really starting his second.

No match with former partner Swerve Strickland on the AEW Champion's path to glory followed by getting lost in the shuffle as a tag wrestler alongside Dustin Rhodes hindered Lee tremendously, and while physical wellbeing could be just as big an obstacle in WWE, there's a feeling that his minutes could be maximised more effectively second time around.

Lee was beloved by audiences during the height of his NXT run in 2019, and Triple H tried in vain to capitalise on that when the wheels fell off the brand in 2020. Four years isn't as long as it used to be in wrestling, and 'The Game's forced through many of his former favourites on the main roster with less of an upside than even a limited version of the 'Limitless' one. Lee was one of the hundreds nearly destroyed by Vince McMahon's creative but the same doesn't have to be true second time around. If there's one prosperous run left, it's most like there rather than in his current surroundings.
