10 Wrestlers Who Are In The Wrong Company

9. Cesaro

Shouldn't be in WWE because...

He just jobbed to The Miz on RAW, which makes sense in the parameters of current storylines because those storylines do not factor in Cesaro. Those 72 hours between Cardiff and Baltimore were an all too acute metaphor: Cesaro played his role as cult favourite to office afterthought over the course of a single weekend. Monday was the hangover. Unable to cut the lengthy promos necessary to feature on WWE TV, he is promoted as a good hand, which is upsetting, because he is a phenomenal hand.

Should be in NJPW because...

NJPW is the one major company in which it is possible to connect with crowds purely through explosive, exquisite in-ring performance. Personality is crucial, too - Jeff Cobb received muted reactions throughout this year's G1 Climax tournament - but Cesaro would get over huge in one major debut match, which is something NJPW books with tremendous effect (KENTA, Jon Moxley). New Japan audiences are in thrall to the strength of colossal western talent even when they can't fly around the ring with such propulsion.

Cesaro would command that rising, oscillating Korakuen Hall reaction splendidly.
