10 Wrestlers Who Are In The Wrong Role
3. Luchasaurus As Kane 2.0
Make no mistake, Luchasaurus is one hell of a prehistoric performer on his day.
And throughout much of his time walking the earth whilst signed to Tony Khan's All Elite promotion, the Jurassic Express powerhouse managed to establish himself as one of the most beloved and bizarre creations the industry had to offer, regularly pulling off superhuman feats of athleticism whilst endearing himself as a dino dude to get behind.
This unexpected effectiveness as one half of the vibrant Jurassic twosome alongside Jungle Boy Jack Perry has made the concept of the towering masked force turning into a Kane 2.0 of sorts a touch difficult to digest for many over the last few months, mind.
Donning a spooky new black variation of his joyfully surreal persona, the idea of a dastardly dinosaur doing the evil biddings of a devious Christian Cage very quickly ran out of steam... and that was before his second heel turn on his one-time best pal in a matter of months.
Simply put, the entire Luchasaurus gimmick doesn't really pop in quite the same gloriously weird way when acting as a Right Hand of Destruction. So, perhaps AEW would be wise to have the Austin Matelson underneath the mask opt for a different title and intimidating look whilst he's doing business with Captain Charisma.
