After watching WrestleMania 38, fans might be thinking that the last thing they will see Gable Steveson doing in WWE is teaming with Chad Gable and the Alpha Academy. That would be a popular opinion, as the Olympic Gold Medalist made his first in-ring appearance for WWE embarrassing Chad on the biggest night of the wrestling year.

However, to write off this pairing entirely would be a mistake, and fans do not have to look any further than the man who Steveson is already being compared to in Kurt Angle. When Angle arrived in WWE he was one of the fastest rising stars the company has seen, and he eventually linked up with The World's Greatest Tag Team in Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas to add to his credibility. Chad Gable and Otis can help to bring Steveson along in his WWE journey, eventually allowing the Olympic and NCAA Heavyweight Champion to lead the group.

If Angle over 20 years ago was any indication, Gable Steveson is going to have a bright future ahead of him in WWE. While it is unfair to expect him to take to the world of professional wrestling as quickly as Kurt did, allowing Steveson to introduce himself alongside Alpha Academy could be the perfect way to start his WWE career. Not to mention the potential of adding Gable's real life brother to the group, who is currently in NXT under the name of Damon Kemp.
