10 Wrestlers Who Are The Best At Precisely ONE Move

3. Cutter

Invented by of all people John Laurinaitis, his version looks antiquated though 2023 eyes.

Diamond Dallas Page's Diamond Cutter ages a lot better, and his super creative set-ups - in 1997, not one looked the same - put him over as a clever, strategic babyface.

As the move evolved, wrestlers developed springboard variations. Between those, it's a close call between Will Ospreay and Cody Rhodes. Ospreay's Oscutter looks more spectacular, but Cody's fire-up is the best in the world at present.

It's Randy Orton's RKO; no preamble was necessary, really.

He registers it brilliantly. If it's indeed worth it, his slow approach to building matches puts over the explosion of a set-up. His leap looks gorgeous, and he grabs that head and really drives it into the canvas. It's the most over and best-looking cutter of the lot, a truly iconic finisher, and of course, he knows how to keep it interesting.

Everybody has their own favourite "Super RKO", but subjectively, the one he struck on Evan Bourne all those years ago was one of the best, most well-timed moves in wrestling history. The timing - to counter a shooting star press - was something more than perfect. A new word is required. That was impossibly great, and Orton's celebration was more than justified.
