205 Live can't be saved.

The show is good-to-great every single week, and it's WWE's most consistent brand between the ropes. It's a workrate-centric island away from the mainline product's sports entertainment trappings. Cruiserweight Title matches often come close to stealing the show on pay-per-view, and this exciting, talented roster is packed with some of the best athletes in the company.

But nobody gives a sh*t.

Casual fans have been conditioned to not care about 205 Live for too long, to the point where the brand's C-show feel will never be lifted. The best these great wrestlers can hope for is a polite murmur and scattered "2-0-5" chants from the hardcores. It's a dead scene, and a guy like Buddy Murphy deserves better.

One of WWE's best bell-to-bell performers throughout 2018, the Cruiserweight ace has reinvented himself over the past few months, taking hints from trendsetters like Kenny Omega in the ring while unlocking previously unseen levels of star power. Murphy carries himself like a big deal, but can't be presented like one on such a small stage. He needs out, and if he's going to fulfil his full potential, Buddy needs to be on Raw or SmackDown.
