10 Wrestlers Who BADLY Need A New WWE Superstar Shake-Up

2. Drew McIntyre

The past few months haven't been kind to Drew McIntyre.

While 'The Scottish Psychopath' is still a future main-eventer, enthusiasm for his push has dampened significantly. This isn't through any fault of his own, as he remains a good talker and outstanding in-ring powerhouse. No, it's down to the way WWE have handled him since December, with the former NXT and Intercontinental Champion absorbing pointless losses, drifting in and out of a go-nowhere Dolph Ziggler feud, and rubbing shoulders with enthusiasm vacuums like Baron Corbin on a weekly basis.

It's time to get him the hell out of Raw and over to SmackDown: a brand already well-stocked with great heels, but one still in need of a clear 1B to Daniel Bryan's 1A. Drew is that guy, and it'd do him the world of good.

SmackDown's writing team write smarter, more logical stories than Raw's, and stand a far stronger chance of getting Project McIntyre back on track. He'd thrive against the brand's in-ring marvels, too, and the idea of him going 20 minutes with the likes of Bryan, AJ Styles, and Andrade is enticing, regardless of alignment clashes.
