10 Wrestlers Who Beat Goldberg
8. Diamond Dallas Page - Nitro 1999
On the same night that he lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Sting, DDP was given the opportunity to win it back in a free-for-all match also involving Goldberg and Kevin Nash, marking one of the most star-studded fatal four-ways in WCW history.
Remarkably, it was the least recognisable of those names who emerged with victory. The former champion instantly got his belt back (the latest in a long line of hot shot title reigns) after smashing Nash in the teeth with a handy pair of brass knucks and then finishing him off with a Diamond Cutter.
Moments earlier, Goldberg seemed to have victory in the bag. He had just nailed Sting with a Jackhammer when mid-life crisis-era Randy Savage jumped into the ring to break up the resulting pin attempt.
Nobody can ever deny that Nitro's go-home matches were eventful, but there's a long list of reasons fans started turning off in their droves right around this time, and passing WCW's biggest prize around like it meant nothing was certainly one of them.
