10 Wrestlers Who Beat The Hell Out Of Each Other Backstage

8. Rick Rude/The Ultimate Warrior

According to legend, one Rick Rude approached The Ultimate Warrior backstage and told him to stop being so stiff during their 1989 run of matches. Unsurprisingly, Warrior didn't react positively to this and arrogantly replied something to the effect of: 'I can do what I want because I'm The Ultimate Warrior'.

Yep.

If that was unsurprising, then what happened next is hardly some jaw-dropping shocker. Rude cuffed his peer for being such a cheeky, egotistical sod, and others jumped in to make sure things didn't go overboard in a hurry. This, as some fans may recall, wasn't Warrior's only beef behind the curtain in the then-WWF.

Top stars like Andre The Giant didn't like him at all. The giant even took some liberties with Warrior in-ring during their own series of bouts, which likely pleased those who thought Vince McMahon's pet project needed to be torn down a peg or two.

Lesson learned. Don't mess with 'Ravishing' Rick Rude.
