9. Arn Anderson/Sid Vicious
Right, about those scissors.
This is one of wrestling's most infamous tales. During a WCW European tour in 1993, Sid Vicious and Arn Anderson got aggressive in a UK hotel room; things quickly got out of hand, and it ended with the pair bleeding due to countless stab wounds inflicted by those aforementioned scissors.
Unlike the Steiner/Page incident years later, WCW management knew they had to do something about this that would send a message. So, they terminated Sid's contract, which was big news considering he was slated to wrestle Vader in the main event of Starrcade (the company's WrestleMania) just two months after the tour.
It was a terrible situation, and one that reflected poorly on the promotion to boot. Sid was canned, Arn was a bloody mess, the main event of Starrcade was changed and WCW tried to move on. This would be the talk of the town for many, many years.
