René Duprée began his career with everything going for him. The son of famed wrestling promoter Emile Duprée, was (at the time) the youngest wrestler to sign with WWE at just 18 years old. After a year in former-WWF development territory OVW, Duprée debuted on Raw alongside Sylvain Grenier. When the two captured the World Tag Team Championships, Duprée became the first teenager to hold gold in WWE history.

Duprée's treatment backstage went beyond ribbing and jovial hazing. He claimed that The Undertaker ordered WWE Superstars to put his possessions (including the French Flag) in a toilet where they could be soiled and defecated on, however, his worst bullies (unsurprisingly) were JBL, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Hardcore Holly.

Holly infamously punched Duprée after he got a ticket using their rental car, but JBL's abuse was relentless, with him referring to Duprée as a "French f****t" every opportunity he got.

Duprée recently got a bit of revenge on one of his bullies using his podcast to brand Dudley "Blubber Ray Dudley" and "the real live version of Eric Cartman." Duprée continued:

"If he doesn’t get his way. He bitches and moans and whines like a child [...] The Dudley boys had one set match, one routine that they did over and over and over again [...] The problem with Mark (Bubba) is that he’s just that he’s a mark, he’s a mark for himself, his ego cost him more opportunities than anything. And he knows it."
