Ever wondered what happened to B. Brian Blair of the Killer Bees after he refused to turn heel and left the World Wrestling Federation, leaving 'Jumpin' Jim Brunzell in limbo? Nope, me neither. Well, if you were, the guy was up to quite a lot. He was the man who pulled Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake out of the water after Beefcake's major accident that left him without a face after all.

Blair has also thrown himself into politics since the turn of the new millennium, consistently running for office in his home country of Hillsborough, Florida. He first ran for a seat on the county commission in 2002, but was unsuccessful.

Victory came in 2004 however, as Blair was elected to County Commissioner, a post he would hold for four years before being defeated by Hillsborough's first openly gay candidate, Kevin Beckner.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
