10 Wrestlers Who Became Losers In ONE Second

6. Melina (WWE Royal Rumble, January 30th, 2022)

Not making her presence known inside of a WWE ring for an age, despite being rumoured to have signed a deal with the company as far back as September 2020, the sight of Melina finally returning to the promotion at this year's Royal Rumble brought with it a reception worthy of a re-emerging hero destined to make a sizeable impact on the titular bout.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't turn out to be the case at all, with the star also known for her work in the NWA and IMPACT Wrestling being given less than a minute of the spotlight in the 30-woman over-the-top-rope spectacular.

In next to no time at all, the former MNM figure was dumped out by number #1 entrant Sash Banks. And Melina herself would even note how she assumed she'd be given more chance to shine after so much time away from the WWE machine, replying with a comment of "Same here" when asked why she didn't play a bigger role in the match on Instagram.

Whatever way you slice it, WWE made a five-time Women's Champion go from crowd-popping returning veteran to inferior returnee in the eyes of those inside The Dome with just one pitifully tame elimination.
