The Archer of Infamy Damian Priest was a great heel. His size, physicality and deep voice struck fear into the hearts of his opponents and he delivered in the ring as a midcard villain. He could have easily been a success as a heel going forward, as he carried himself with the weight of a vicious antagonist.

But his performance with Finn Balor at the Takeover In Your House event was the best match that Balor had since returning to the black and yellow brand, and unlocked Priest's potential as a wrestler and a character that his fans believed he had. Priest got himself over as a babyface with a sickening bump to the steel stairs and his endless fire against his smaller opponent, with the match stealing the show in no small part to Priest’s electrifying determination.

In the weeks after the event, his face turn was made official, with Priest becoming the most unlikely hero on the NXT roster. This lead to him winning the North American Title at the following TakeOver event to rapturous celebration online, and has only scratched the surface of his potential as a good guy. The future is exciting for Damian Priest.
