10 Wrestlers Who Broke Kayfabe In Unusual Ways

2. Becky Lynch Works TMZ For Christmas

A routine TMZ appearance for the Raw Women's Champion resulted in Becky Lynch explaining a process that still may have been alien to some younger or less-tenured fans.

Amidst the usual ancient questions about wrestling's legitimacy and dated craic about the Paul brothers, Lynch was asked for some actual insight on what happens when wrestlers get hurt.

To the surprise of the goobers in the cubicle, she explained the full process, noting that matches can be stopped at any point, often triggered by the referee throwing up an "X" with their arms so those backstage can be made aware of the the damage.

This isn't the first time the technique has been exposed or explained, but there's every chance that the message has never gone out to quite so many people. There'll be a crossover between TMZ and WWE's audience to an extent, but many viewers of the former perhaps had no idea that such a thing existed in a world they presumed completely and utterly fake.

That wasn't the only place where 'The Man' came around...
