10 Wrestlers Who Burned EVERY Bridge On The Way Out
6. Paul London
To be fair to Paul London, being punished for smiling gives him the right to shoot.
London had a decent with the company. His singles career saw him pick up a Cruiserweight Title reign and his famous teaming with Brian Kendrick granted the pair multiple runs with the Tag Titles, one of which reached a record-breaking length at the time. With all of that behind him, what went wrong?
As previously alluded too, London was punished after smiling at Vince McMahon during the infamous limousine explosion segment, where the chairman was kayfabe killed off. After this happened - which according to London was the result of miscommunication - he was turned into an irrelevant presence, constantly jobbing out until his eventual release.
This is not the only reason that London was vocally resentful of the company. During an episode of the Pancakes and Powerslams podcast, London claimed that it is was a "horrible, horrible place to work" full of "constant mental hazing" and that no matter where you are in the company you will be "treated like garbage".
It's safe to say that his disdain for WWE runs deep and that he has no problem making this known publicly.
