10 Wrestlers Who Burned EVERY Bridge On The Way Out
5. Ethan Page
Impact Wrestling has a great place in the modern wrestling landscape, as it's filled up with strong performers, and the recent crossover with AEW looks set to bring the promotion even further into the spotlight.
Page was with Impact since 2017 and had a decent run of it whilst there, winning the World Tag Team Titles twice, and receiving two Impact Tag Team of the Year Awards alongside his partner Josh Alexander. It's safe to say that he kept his head above water in the stacked promotion, but he has gone down in infamy now thanks to his recent abrasive shoot after his match against his own Karate Man alter ego at Hard to Kill.
Page chose not to renew his Impact contract afterwards. In a statement he made on Reddit (which you can read in full here), Page claimed that this might have been a reason as to why Impact ruined the product he made and turned it into a high-school level media project, nothing near the quality that he wanted, or that fans deserved to see on PPV.
This post was scathing, calling Impact a greedy company with no respect for its performers, and even claiming that they actively lied to him, and withheld him from seeing the edit of the stylised match before it aired. Let's hope that things look better for him outside of the brand.
