10 Wrestlers Who Burned EVERY Bridge On The Way Out
4. CM Punk
The massive fallout between WWE and CM Punk was loud, bitter and completely public. While Punk never had an issue venting his frustrations whilst working for WWE, he at least did his best to keep his cap on. That went completely out of the window after his departure, as he was almost instantly destroying the company in shoot interviews, discussing their malpractice, lack of creative freedom for wrestlers and everything else he could trudge up.
As an incredibly divisive figure in the wrestling world, his messy exit from the industry sparked a tonne of controversy, as fans struggled to decide which side of the coin was right. There was - and is - no side that is fully to blame, but the acts of pettiness on both side - such as WWE sending his termination letter on the day of his wedding, and Punk's vocal shaming of the company - prove that there's no love lost between the pair.
Punk did make his way back to WWE in some capacity, joining Backstage as a personality. But this was hardly a rebuilt bridge between him and the company, as not only was it separate from WWE, but the show would end up being cancelled before it even got the chance to shine.
