10 Wrestlers Who Butted Heads With WWE Creative (And Won)

Perhaps it's only right that Shawn Michaels, after pulling rank so many times over the course of his own career, should have been on the receiving end of a last-minute creative switcheroo himself.

This one came on the eve of SummerSlam 2005, where HBK took on Hulk Hogan in the long-awaited first-ever clash between the two wrestling legends. Hogan was always supposed to win, but the original idea was for there to be a rematch a couple of months later.

But that's where The Hulkster allegedly got into a little bit of a disagreement with creative. He didn't really fancy having a multi-match series, and asked them instead to make it a one and done type deal, with him going over and no rematch.

All of this would be completely unverifiable were it not for the fact that Michaels let the world know how irked he was by the whole affair by comically over-selling his opponent's every move when they got in the ring together. And, to be fair, it was completely hilarious.
