Not to be outdone, Terry Funk's brother joins him on this list of "Mad Old People Who Don't Know When To Quit".

Like his younger brother, Dory Jr. was also NWA Worlds Champion and held several more titles across his career, including several tag championships with Terry.

Since stepping away from the ring full-time, Funk has dedicated his life to training the next generation of grapplers. His "Funking Conservatory" wrestling school has been going since 1991 and has quite the impressive list of alumni.

The Hardy Boyz, Lita, Mickie James, Chris Sabin, Rikishi, Christian, Gail Kim, Rhino, and Kurt Angle are among the legends that have been trained by Dory and modern names like Wesley Blake and Mansoor also owe their careers in part to the Hall of Famer.

The Funking Conservatory has its own promotion attached to it that Dory has appeared for over the years.

In February 2020, Dory teamed with Scott and Rick Steiner to battle three of his students - Blain Rage, Jake Logan, and Shane Chung - in a six-man tag. Dory was 79 years and 26 days old at the time.

Naturally, like any good teacher would, he defeated his students with the help of his muscly friends.
