10 Wrestlers Who Could Be AEW's Joker In Dynamite's Casino Ladder Match
5. Miro
If Miro were to enter as the Joker tonight, AEW would find themselves with a weird reception.
The Redeemer is a beloved member of the team, can pull a decent match out of anyone, and was an enjoyable TNT Champion prior to dropping the strap to Sammy Guevara last Wednesday. The only issue is that he's an already established member of AEW's roster who isn't currently sidelined with an injury.
His involvement in the Casino Ladder match wouldn't generate the same level of buzz as a Big Damo or a Chris Hero, but it would make sense from a storyline perspective.
He's only just dropped the TNT Title to Guevara. Literally, it's been exactly one week. Now's the perfect time to push Miro up towards the World Title. He's a big beefy beast of a man who will excel in the ladder match environment, and would be able to boost his skills a tad now that he's contending for a completely new championship.
In Ring Of Honor, Jonathan Gresham confirmed that he was moving up to challenge for Bandido's World Title, having dropped the Pure Title. He'd done everything he needed to with that title, including building a division that hadn't previously existed since the mid-2000s. Miro finds himself in the same boat. Recapturing the TNT Title wouldn't do much for his AEW career trajectory. Poor reaction aside, Miro is a solid choice.
