10 Wrestlers Who Could Have Been Main Eventers With Better Gimmicks
5. Luke Harper
On the independent scene, Brodie Lee established himself as a top-level brawler. Not only was his name a reference to the legendary Bruiser Brody, but his style drew comparisons to that of one of the best big men of all time.
In WWE, the renamed Luke Harper's career has had its ups and downs. He's still an impressive talent, and he even got a brief run with the Intercontinental Title, but by and large, he's been relegated to performing as a lackey for Bray Wyatt. Though the pair have been split up at times, Harper has been Wyatt's most loyal soldier, largely to the detriment of his own career.
Wyatt himself is one of WWE's stalest characters - though there's nothing wrong with his gimmick, the facts that he's shown no growth over three years and that his feuds are all the same have left him ruined. Harper's serving as a subordinate to Wyatt for such a long time has only prevented him from having his talent taken seriously.
