10 Wrestlers Who Could Leave AEW In 2022

8. Kiera Hogan

Another wrestler who joined AEW in 2021, Kiera Hogan is yet to find her footing in the company's women's division.

Though she had already wrestled for the promotion four times up to that point, including in All Out 2021's Casino Battle Royale, Hogan's signing wasn't confirmed until Excalibur and Taz confirmed it on Dark's 28 September episode. Kiera has since worked four further matches since defeating Leila Grey there, though only one (a defeat to Penelope Ford on 16 October) made it to television over YouTube.

It's likely that AEW sees Hogan as a project. The 27-year-old is still developing, and stands as somebody who can grow into a bigger role in AEW with time, though she was a regular television wrestler for IMPACT Wrestling for several years prior to joining Tony Khan's company.

In addition, November saw Hogan confess that at times, she felt lost in the AEW shuffle (h/t Fightful):-

"Okay, so I’m here, but I feel like — there’s a lot of moving parts going on at AEW right now, so I feel like a lot of things are getting lost in the shuffle and I feel like I’m one of those things, but, I’m just trying to just stay positive and just focus on what I can control which is just staying ready for whenever that opportunity does present itself and I’m excited because — NWA, I still am able to do indie bookings under my contract and do things that honestly I can do because of my contract so I’m able to still work and go out and things and with the time that I do have off, I’m able to just focus on myself, working out, my move set, and going to training or getting bookings."

Fingers crossed she escapes that shuffle and finds her spot soon enough.
