10 Wrestlers Who Could Win Their First World Title In 2021

4. MJF

Big E WWE Champion
AEW

MJF is destined to become the biggest heel in AEW, if he isn't already. The Salt of the Earth is all set to dominate pro wrestling for the next couple of decades, and he is more than likely going to be spend much of that time with the AEW World Championship around his waist. Of course, Maxwell Jacob Friedman could just as easily dominate the wrestling world without the title, but at least one run is arguably the biggest inevitability in the sport today.

Kenny Omega is the current AEW World Champion, and while the company hasn't shied away from heel vs. heel matches in the past, it is unlikely that a major title change will come about in such circumstances, not yet anyway. If Omega is going to be positioned as AEW's big bad then the promotion will need a hero to dethrone The Cleaner, and a hero is something that MJF should never ever be.

This guy is the ultimate villain, after all. Whoever dethrones Omega, expect them to drop that golden beauty to MJF, and watch AEW's ratings go through the roof as a result.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
