10 Wrestlers Who Couldn't Hide Their Anger At A REAL Insult

The Rock was so untouchable at and entertaining on the microphone that he broke the key rule and still drew more money than all but a handful of performers.

All wrestlers are taught to build their opponent, because there's nothing impressive about beating up a piece of sh*t. If the performer doesn't care, why would people pay to watch the performance?

The Rock proved to be an exception to the rule because he was simply too entertaining. He was brutal with his insults. He could evaporate even the Undertaker's aura with a single impression. This worked more often than not because the booking was so strong elsewhere at his peak. He could bury 'Taker knowing that 'Taker was protected.

Kevin Nash experienced a sobering new reality upon returning to the WWF in 2002. Where he once mercilessly buried an entire company that wasn't as cool as he was, stood opposite the Rock, he was the punchline now. On the Raw after WrestleMania X8, in a promo battle building Rock and Hulk Hogan Vs. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Rock referred to Nash as 'Big Daddy Bitch'.

That was actually very mild by Rock's standards, but Nash, his brow furrowed with a long seethe, could not deal with it - so much so that he aimed pissy (and ugly) digs at Rock in shoot interviews for years afterwards.

While he has since apologised, it wasn't so much the exact nature of the insult but the disturbing notion that he was the Arn Anderson.
