10 Wrestlers Who Couldn't Hide Their Anger At A REAL Insult

Chris Jericho was caught up in a rather stupid political game upon debuting in the WWF.

Two conflicting ideas conspire to make the star-making process in that company so much more difficult than it should be. Wrestlers are told to grab the brass ring and get over themselves, but are also told to toe the line at the exact same time.

Jericho tried to get himself over at the expense of the Undertaker on his second week in August 1999, and in his defence, 'Taker had just bored the crowd to tears with his notoriously awful story about taking the Big Show to the desert. It was such tedious "manly" pissing contest stuff that it's a wonder WCW didn't win the Monday Night Wars there and then. Ernest Miller went over Mike Enos that night on the other channel, but it was a classic Austin/McMahon angle compared to Big Show eating a snake or whatever the f*ck 'Taker was banging on about.

Jericho said that Show and 'Taker were "giant slugs" - the "personification of boring".

'Taker was, yes, pissed, and Jericho caught heat. He could barely escape it for months after the fact. 'Taker himself couldn't hide his fury in the ring, but then again, that might just be his face.

Probably looked like that in his wedding photos.
