5. Carlito

There's currently no indication that last night's Carlito return was anything but a one-off. Reported ahead of time, there's every chance that the former Intercontinental Champion showed up for a payday (maybe as a make-good for WWE's Legends Night goof) and will soon be on his way back to Puerto Rico, happy with his night's work.

Regardless, look at him. Carlito showed up to Royal Rumble 2021 jacked, baby, and while the coronavirus pandemic made it impossible for him to spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool, his performance was strong as well. His execution had extra pop and snap, perhaps as a result of the extra beef, and he wrestled like he'd never been away.

Royal Rumble 2021 saw Carlito put himself on every major wrestling promotion's radar. Having stayed hidden in the wilderness for long, it may be time for him to come in the cold. Where better than WWE, where he has great history and suits the overall presentation style? Don't bet against him becoming 2021's Montel Vontavious Porter.
