10 Wrestlers Who Deserve More Respect

7. R-Truth

R-Truth 24/7 Champion
WWE

What People Say: R-Truth isn't ever going to become a full-time WWE headliner despite flirting with the role for a feud with John Cena in 2011. Before this 24/7 Title business, that was perhaps the last time he was truly relevant. Since then, he's been killing time more than some would like to admit.

Why He Deserves Respect: That 24/7 Title would probably already be on WWE's scrap heap were it not for Truth's wildly entertaining escapades. He's well on the road to bettering Crash Holly's Hardcore Title madness, has helped give Carmella something to do and interacted to great effect with guys like Drake Maverick.

Plus, Truth's comedy keeps Raw's bloated three-hour format ticking along. He's a much-needed breather for the writers; they know they can pen a few light-hearted segments starring their deluded goof and pad out the show. It's a real 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' situation that works for everybody.

That's the truth.
