10 Wrestlers Who Desperately Need New Finishers
8. The Ascension
When fans talk about wrestlers who were booked well in NXT but didn't get the same level of care on the main roster, The Ascension is always near the top of the list. While Viktor and (especially) Konnor aren't workers on the level of Neville or American Alpha, they were still used in a way that highlighted their strengths and made them major players in development. WWE's decision-makers showed none of the same concern.
As a result, The Ascension have been glorified jobbers for the past two years, with little help of redemption. Still, this is wrestling, and fans have short memories. With the right push, the two could be a viable team again, and part of that could involve a new finisher.
Their current finisher, the Fall of Man, is decent, if ultimately underwhelming. A less impressive version of The Eliminators' Total Elimination, the Fall of Man sees Konnor hit a legsweep while Viktor executes a European uppercut. A change to something like a top-rope knee strike/powerbomb combination could shock fans en route to some major wins.
