10 Wrestlers Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

6. Mojo Rawley

The Problem: Rawley is someone WWE pretty much forgot about after WrestleMania 33's Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He turned heel on old partner Zack Ryder and proceeded to do little other than receive undeserved cracks at Bobby Roode's United States Title.

There's still a hangover from the Hype Bros tag-team in Mojo's act. After WWE tackle changing that, perhaps they can also move on from Rawley's generic American football tropes too; that scrimmage pose Mojo uses during his entrance should be one of the first things to go.

Suggested Change: So, if WWE aren't using Rawley's real-sports background or his combo of energy and self-belief, what should they turn to instead?

Watch any of Rawley's promos right before he turned heel/after WrestleMania and you'll notice he showed there's more to his arsenal than shouting loudly about how pumped up he is. Lurking just beneath the surface was a surprisingly eloquent man who didn't leap around like a jock in some teen movie from the early-noughties.

Exploring the more intellectual side of his personality and switching Mojo's colour scheme to something a little less childish would be a start.
