10 Wrestlers Who Did Their Best Work In TNA/IMPACT
2. Bobby Lashley
The current WWE champ was tipped to be a major player all the way back in 2005. Debuting as a soft-spoken, hard-hitting powerhouse for WWE, he began a slow burn push to the main event. While Lashley had all of the athletic tools to reign at the top, he hadn't quite found his voice and persona yet.
After leaving WWE under mysterious circumstances in 2008, he eventually rebuilt his name as a crossover star by wrestling for TNA whilst fighting in Bellator. Now boasting legit fighter cred, TNA presented Lashley as a beast on the level of Brock Lesnar in WWE. Implementing more MMA-focused offence into his style, the Dominator was more than convincing as the deadliest man in the promotion.
Lashley eventually got so over with the Impact Zone faithful that the bookers moved ahead with putting every title they had on the big man. He also improved leaps and bounds on the microphone and was the backbone of the show in a time where it was otherwise struggling. His matches with the likes of Kurt Angle, Brian Cage and Drew Galloway (definitely worth a watch before this year's 'Mania) remain his finest work in the ring to date.
