10 Wrestlers Who Didn't Know What To Do With Title Belts

5. Rowdy Roddy Piper (Intercontinental Championship)

A combination of inexperience and pure, unfiltered elation resulted in Rowdy Roddy Piper holding his one and only WWE singles title aloft as if he was a young child unwrapping that dream Christmas present on a grainy home video.

It was a perfectly pitched celebration by the 'Hot Scot', not least because he'd just liberated the once-legendary title from a thoroughly undeserving Champion.

Piper's Royal Rumble 1992 title shot arrived late after The Mountie had dethroned a (kayfabe) fever-ridden Bret Hart just days prior at a house show. In real life, 'The Hitman' was locked in contract negotiations, but Vince McMahon's short term solution was a winner.

Garnering two monster pops from separate babyface wins, he got one reaction for Piper then another for 'The Hitman' himself when the two went to war at WrestleMania VIII. In the meantime, the secondary strap was in legendary hands, even if those hands seemingly couldn't believe their luck.
