10 Wrestlers Who Don’t Need WWE Or AEW

4. John Caballero (Morrison)

Caballero is ex-WWE man John Morrison's latest surname. He's using that for appearances over in AAA, which comes hot on the heels of a brief run as Johnny Elite in (you guessed it) AEW. Those showings for Tony Khan also followed a near-two year second stint in WWE.

It might be his last.

The 43 year old remains in peak physical condition. His diet and workout plan must be insane to keep that going, but JoMo deserves applause for how hard he's worked to impress when he hasn't been on the WWE gravy train; his Lucha Underground performances, for example, were absolutely stunning.

Morrison, or...Caballero clearly plans to continue that trend in AAA. All Elite never felt like the right place for him anyway (cries of, 'Oh Tony is just signing ex-WWE guys' would've been ringing in his ears constantly there), and it's not like the man needs major promotional backing to stay relevant in 2022.
