10 Wrestlers Who Don’t Need WWE Or AEW

3. Jay White

Brace yourselves for a twin pack of wasted AEW runs, people.

Jay White is a special kind of talent who really deserved better than to show up as part of Tony Khan's "Forbidden Door" shenanigans. During that fourth-month excursion to All Elite, White was booked to wrestle just two matches - one against Trent Beretta on Rampage and one as part of a four-way on the Forbidden Door pay-per-view itself.

Throughout both matches and all of the backstage segments he was involved in, Jay wore a slightly bemused expression on his face. It was as though the dude was asking, 'Is this it?'. The current IWGP Heavyweight Champion was just the latest surprise for Mr. Khan, and it wasn't anywhere near as satisfying as Tony probably thought it'd be.

Regardless, White doesn't need AEW to have a killer career. He was smashing it long before those three letters meant anything, and hasn't really been on WWE's radar (at least publicly for any length of time) either.
