10 Wrestlers Who Found God

9. Road Dogg

The "Road Dogg" Jesse James (real name is Brian James) became known in the wrestling business as one half of the New Age Outlaws with Billy Gunn. They are one of the best tag teams in WWE history. He also went down the wrong path by becoming a drug addict. Thankfully for him, he was able to find the right path again and cleaned up his life. He's also talked about it openly in the past: "I've been in a drug rehabilitation center for drug addicts and it was actually Christian-based and I've been born-again, given my life to Jesus. And I try to live every day now just like God's watching me and do what would be pleasing to him, actually it's not that hard. You just kind of gotta be good and that's not that bad." At one point in the 2000s he was fired by WWE and had to find work elsewhere, but he found his way back to the company that made him famous. He joined the creative team in 2012 and has been a vital part of the company ever since. If you follow him on Twitter @WWERoadDogg you can see that he posts inspirational messages all the time. Kudos to him for wanting to help others.
