10 Wrestlers Who Go Back Further Than You Think

1. Adam Pearce

'Scrap Daddy' Adam Pearce's Wikipedia page was likely bombarded with visits following the bizarre announcement that the current WWE unnamed authority figure would compete against Roman Reigns at the 2021 Royal Rumble.

The match may not quite be the final form for 'The Tribal Chief's Universal Championship defence, but it nonetheless triggered a bit of interest in just how the suited and booted character found his way to such a regular role on WWE television from 2020.

To cut the long story short, Pearce put the miles in on the North American indies, for Ring Of Honor, in Japan and most notably for the National Wrestling Alliance during another trying time for the legendary group in the mid-2000. And while the Rumble match will be a debut for this version of his persona goes ahead, it won't be his first time running the WWE ropes.

As "Adam O'Brien", Pearce did jobs to the Nation Of Domination, Tiger Ali Singh and The Truth Commission before setting off on the globetrotting tenure that afforded him a life in wrestling without the industry leader. The Rumble headliner will make for quite the unique addition to his CV should it actually take place.
