10 Wrestlers Who Got Into Phenomenal Shape
5. Braun Strowman
One week ago, Braun Strowman's roar echoed through the speakers and the 'Monster Among Men' burst back into WWE, 15 months after his shocking release by the company. Many assumed with Braun it was a matter of when not if he would return, and his emergence to decimate the tag division was met with a thunderous cheer.
And the monster has never looked better.
Arriving in 2015 as the black sheep of the Wyatt Family, Strowman was a hulking dude but one that wasn't exactly a ripped mass of muscle. As with many giants in WWE, it appeared Strowman was big on size, but not exactly rippling in the way the smaller competitors were. Over his rise and fall during his first WWE run, Braun did get into great shape.
But by then, the bloom was off the rose, and WWE's lack of sustained push meant the big man soon quietly left the company to control his own narrative. Whilst his venture with the also released EC3 was as strange as it was a non-event, Strowman did show some incredible dedication in the gym, cutting his body into a terrifying and chiselled machine.
When he stomped out last week, he looked like the sort of monster that would illicit the Vince McMahon GIF of him falling out of his chair. This guy doesn't pass the airport tests anymore... he gives them!
