10 Wrestlers Who Got Into Phenomenal Shape
4. Bray Wyatt
It's never been Bray Wyatt's size or shape that made him intimidating. It was always the sheer commitment to the occult that made him such a scary presence in the WWE.
When Wyatt brought his family to the WWE, he was immediately pegged as the next Undertaker. Whilst fans always seem desperate to tag that label to a young star, they weren't far off with Wyatt. The 'Eater of Worlds' was the smallest member of the family, but with his electric promos and creepy motives, he seemed destined to become a WWE mainstay.
When the gimmick eventually tanked into a midcard tag team with Matt Hardy, Wyatt looked spent. He was out of shape and clearly lacking any creative love for his role. He went away... and boy, did he return.
His rebirth in the Firefly Fun House is rightly considered one of the most creative endeavours in wrestling across the past decade, and not only did Wyatt look creatively fulfilled, he looks better than ever. His beard was trimmed, his hair had been dreadlocked and, most impressively, he looked leaner and more muscular than before. Even his first shot in the Fun House showed a bulging physique, desperate to get out.
We did let him out, and we let him in, and part of The Fiend's terrifying dominance was due to the powerful man behind the mask.
