10 Wrestlers Who Had A Blood Feud With Triple H
4. Goldberg
Though his momentum certainly had waned from its peak in the late '90s when Goldberg finally made his way into the WWE in 2003, fans were still excited to see one of the most popular stars of the Monday Night War finally compete in Vince McMahon's travelling circus.
However, a feud with the then-unstoppable Triple H did little to harken back to Goldberg's run as an unstoppable force in WCW, and when he left the company after just a year, there was clearly an air of resentment in how Goldberg referred to The Game.
Prior to the former NFL player's return to the WWE and subsequent induction into the Hall of Fame, Hunter claimed that he did not think that Goldberg's achievements in the ring warranted such recognition during an interview prior to WrestleMania XXVII.
"So when you say, 'What about Goldberg,' no offence to Bill, but you've got guys like Bruno Sammartino that were legends with longevity that should be in there, but they're holding out because they think they've got one more run. Just using Bill as an example, how many years did he wrestle? Not many."
