10 Wrestlers Who Had Their Best Runs In WWE

6. Sean Waltman

Sean Waltman's legendary upset of Razor Ramon is part of wrestling folklore, and still provides the textbook example of how to get a young talent over with the audience. That and his classic WWF title match with Bret Hart are enough to qualify his first run with the WWE a success.

Waltman's WCW tenure was blighted by a lack of interest from the booking committee, who seemed to view him as the nWo's weak link. Despite joining the group in its heyday Waltman failed to make much of an impact, losing his first feud to Eddie Guerrero and failing to advance from the company's Cruiserweight division. After less than two years in the company, Waltman was let go while rehabbing from injury.

The former 1-2-3 Kid bounced back in his old stomping ground, joining the red-hot D-Generation X under his new ring-name, X-Pac. While X-Pac undoubtedly overstayed his welcome, it can't be denied that Waltman's second run in the WWE was the most title-laden of his career as he won the European, Tag Team and Cruiserweight belts.

Sean Waltman was never a main-eventer, but he was a hell of a worker and its good to see him getting the respect he deserves. Hearing the audience chant “1-2-3!” at him was easily the most heart-warming moment from RAW 25, and an overdue moment of recognition for one of the most talented wrestlers of his generation.
